11. SMS / text messaging
With your consent, BC Billing sends operational SMS text messages to authorized staff and facility partners — for example, a short weekly summary of a facility’s patient census with a link to the full report in the Service.
- Consent. We only text mobile numbers that a facility partner or staff member has given us directly and agreed may receive these updates.
- No sharing of mobile numbers. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Numbers are used only to deliver the messages you signed up for.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies but is typically about one message per week per facility.
